Be careful when you take home loan from ICICI Bank.
First they approve the builder’s project & rope in as many customers for the loan possible.
When the project is in mid-stage, they start delaying disbursement of loan installments on the pretext of technical issues with the project.
What happens then the builders start charging intrest on delayed payments from the customers at the rate of 20% or more.
This is what is happenning as of now with many projects & ICICI has stopped disbursal. You may check at your end. The customers who have bought in Vipul Petals, Legend, Park View in Gurgaon are all going through the same problem with ICICI.
The worst thing is that ICICI is not putting anything in writing nor responding to customer queries on this. This is the height of unprofessionalism & not expected from a bank like ICICI.
Please check the status in the market before you go for loan with ICICI, a personal advice to all.
