I have been banking for many years with ICICI bank, the no. 1 private bank. I have many products of this bank, bank account, credit card and share trading account.
it has been very easy for me to transact since I mostly use the net banking option. it is fully secured and I use it several times in a month. Even the phone banking is very convenient though lenghty, but then it is lengthy with other banks also. I had always got the information I needed.
the share trading can also be done through ICICIdirect. Net banking will be a better option here, since buying and selling through phone banking can take time and you will not be able to buy/sell at the price you wanted to. The only negative part is the high brokerage which they charge. For me it is convenience more important, so I prefer ICICIdirect than others. Opening a fixed deposit or paying your credit card bills or other utility bills can also be done promptly.
ICICI bank has always been very aggressive in promoting its products and has got the status of no. 1 private bank. I only wish it should not get affected by the recent global financial turmoil.
