I want to focus on the cedit card payment modes. Previously we were able to pay through cash, however, now it is chargeable and if we pay through our savings account thru net, then also it is chargeable by 25 to 50 Rs. which is a high amt. There is no facility through which we can transfer money by ATM, however, this facility is applicable in HDFC Bank. They provide the facility through which we can pay the credit card bill through ATM.
The only option present for the payment is through cheque book which is not possible every time for everyone.
The next major thing is that I have not got any circulation or any notice for the bank that the rates or the charge are applicable now for the payment through net. We get every small alert from the bank side via. email but not a single mail for this important notice.
ICICI also not send executives for the collection of bill but this facility is possible in other banks. This I confirmed by contacting the customer service. It is really a big frustration for a customer who has no time to drop a cheque.
I think the private banks are better than govt. banks. They offer better facilties to the customer and today is a cyber age. Everyone wants to operate the account through Internet and if such type of things will happen then I think the Govt. Banks are better.
