ICICI Bank has started issuing ATM cards, with numbers starting with 9401. These cards can not be used at other bank’s ATMs.RBI has mandated free cash withdrawals at all banks’ ATMs. However, this practice of ICICI Bank stops their ATM cardholders from using other banks’ ATMs.
Earlier they were issuing ATM cards starting with 504064 (or something like that).They charge annual fee for debit cards and their ATM card can not be used at other banks’ ATMs. When the RBI has mandated free cash withdrawals, who are these people to stop customers from accessing their cash from other bank’s ATMs?
