I had a corporate salary account with this bank, and this has been my experience so far with this bank.
ATM : There is always a huge queue
Internet Banking: Good
Customer Service: Pathetic, they are here to cheat people

I had to leave my previous organization, as a part of my exit process I had provided my bank details to my company (Again this was 3i Infotech, one of the subsidiaries of ICICI) for discontinuation of my account.
After few month they send me a statement asking me to make payment, when I enquired what it was for I was informed that due to some error of someone else my account was never closed and that it was converted from salary account to normal savings account, which requires a min bal of 5000, further I never recevied any intimation for the change , they simply kept on sending me statements.
Finally they started charging me interest for not having sufficient balance. THis used to work out to Rs 800 per month. When the bank had not lended me a single rupee. Nor bothered to intimate me about converting my account from salary to savings.
When I spoke to their branch manager he showed me a letter issued from their Head office requesting them to collect all this money from customers. Seriously started doubting the integrity of this bank by now and the manager was proudly showing me the mail.
FInally he started bargaining that lets settle for an amount, believe it or nor I ended up paying @4000 rupees for no fault of mine.
I had faced a similar incident with HDFC but these bank was considerate enough, I am proud that I have a new relation with this bank and found it much much better than ICICI in t erms of its conduct and transperancy.
ICICI you realize that they simply dont care about you. Their customer service is pathetic, they may talk very sweet but their motives are all dangerous, every oppurtunity to fault you at places and earn a revenue out of it.
SIncerely I would never like to have any association with this bank unless I am forced to and would recommend others also to stay away from this bank, this is not a genuine bank it is just a bank who wants to earn money does not matter how.
