My disappointments from this bank is a long long list. Nobody rated my last review (Kasauli), so I thought let me keep it short this time :). I shall give just three reasons to stay away from this bank. Trust me, there are many.. if you want to know send a mail to me.
I have a corporate salary account with ICICI since last more than a year now and despite hundreds of calls, I am yet to get my internet banking user name. ( I got my password after 6 months and some 50 odd calls).
I needed two new cheque books as I was purchasing my car on finance and had to submit 59 PDCs. I called them up 15 days in advance, I was given 5 days lead time. Never got the books, I called them day in and day out on their customer service#. Only answer was it has been sent. I asked for the courier company so that I can follow it up myself (I was purchasing my car in last week of December and there were all the possibility that a delay in this may result in costlier car to me). I was only given a tracking# and the name of the company as Local courier company, I confirmed is it Local or its a local company, I was assured it is Local. They could not provide me a telephone#. Trust me there is no such courier in Delhi.
When I visited the banking branch, ( Sec. 14 Gurgaon), I was assured that it will be delivered today. the story narrated to me was the guy visited you twice but you were not if office. The could not, I went there next morning, I was given a telephone# of courier company and was asked to follow up on my own (Amazing. no?). I called up courier company, they told me that the boy tried twice but could not locate the office??????. I went to the branch again and asked a simple question If I could not submit the cheques in time and have to pay more for my car, who would be responsible.. there came the stunning and arrogant reply of the lady manager Certainly, not me...!!. Anyways, after shouting and cribbing a lot I was issued two books and thus I got my car.
- I also have an ICICI credit card ( what I fool I am). My bills never reach me on time, I get them when the last date is gone. Therefore, I end up paying interest all the time for which I am not responsible. I am in touch with their esteem customer service since last two months (I have activated the SMS alert, email billing and all crap they have suggested) but I still don’t get bill on time, I dont get bill on email etc. etc.
