Recently ICICIbank has increased minimum balance charges to Rs. 750/- plus service tax( comes to about Rs. 800+).
NOT CONTENDED WITH THIS LOOT, .. even after charging this exhorbitant amount per quarter they charge for every ATM & other transactions...
ICICI BANK’S HIGHT OF ARROGANCE IS THAT .....
When approached there branch .... one gets the response that they want to RETAIN ONLY QUALITY (...???...wealthy...???) customers .THATS why they are imposing this hefty PENALITY.
CONSIDER THIS ... if one keeps RS.5000/- ( min. average balance required) in this very quality bank one gets may be interest of Rs. 150 - 400 maximum per anum!!!
AND THEY IMPOSE PENALITY OF RS. 4000/- + PER ANUM FOR NOT MAINTAINING Rs. 5000/- AV. MIN. BALANCE!!! ....
Even RBI seems to be sleeping on this issue !!...
IF banks need only quality ( read.. wealthy.) customers....
LET WE ORDINARY CUSTOMERS ...... TEACH A LESSON TO BANK’S ARROGANCE ..
.............. BY SIMPLY BOYCOTTING ICICI BANK ................
AFTER ALL ... THIS BANK IS WHERE IT IS TODAY ... BECAUSE OF WE CUSTOMERS ONLY ..
.... WE.. the ordinary people made them ... what they are...
WE.. definitely deserve better deal from the bank....
AND ...ABOVE ALL.... as far as ICICI BANK’S SERVICE .. is concerned .... less one says
...better...
...Simply try their phone banking ... well.. one gets the answer..!!!
