I am a business person and I have a current / corporate account with ICICI Bank. On November 28, 2008 I swiped my debit card at Cafe Coffee Day. The amount is Rs.441/- and was been debited from my account instantly.
But in March 13th 2009, they have re-debited the same amount and the Branch Manager (where my account is opened) is help less and suggested me send a letter (in my company’s letter head) to Mumbai ICICI Visa Branch for faster resolution.
Finally, The customer support asked me 4 times to send me the letter and after sending more than 4 times, they are now saying that the amount has been debited as I swiped the debit card on 13th March 2009 which is untrue.
Since the amount is small, I am no more following up with the matter as It will never get resolved.
