Im a genuine person residing in London, UK, having been burnt by ICICI Bank i’d like to share my wonderful experience with you all, so you dont make the same mistake I did.I carried out an online request on the 4th of Sept 2010, to transfer£1000 GBP to an indian ICICI account.It is now the 20th of Sept and the money has not been transferred, i have rang countless times to the call centre, and spoken to many people including the managers (Suresh etc etc).They will not help you at all, and will simple ask you to emailICICI and wait 48hrs.Every time you ring that is the response, nobody will know where you money is or when it will be transferred.On the website they state that the money will be transferred within 5 days.... A big Joke.
ICICI is the worst bank I have dealt with to date, and being an Indian it shames me that our own bank is this incompetent.If anyone out there is suffering the same problem, withthe money 2 india service.Please write a review and let people know so they can avoidthese amateurs.I have now requested a chargeback, through my bank, they will reverse my payment to ICICI and force the money back to my account.You should do the same if they have held on to your money and will not release your funds, most likely as they are benefiting from the interest while they have your money.Request a charge back and tell your high streetbank that they have not transferred the money, and that ICICI will not explain whats going on.ICICI please quit banking and do door to door vegetable sales in an indian village or something.
