Personal services in ICICI Bank are something one has to experience to believe it.
I have been a banker for 28 years and have been maintaining an account with ICICI Bank for over a decade. If you manage your accounts through the net and if you are comfortable with it , generally you can scrape through.
The experience changes dramatically if you want to meet a responsible officer personally and talk things over to sort out. Firstly, some branches are like messy marketplaces where nobody knows what is happening. There is nobody to attend to you except the poor watchman. The junior fellows sitting around are busy in their own worlds. The operations manager is so busy a person attending to complaints.
Ultimately when you push through, present your agonies to the manager and want some action, a few forms are given for filling up with a promise that these will have to be sent to Mumbai and all over the Country and that you will hear from them in a weeks time if you are alive by then.
You come out thinking that everything is taken care of. Again after a fortnight you get some forms telling that more details are required and you reach at your wits end.
On more than three occasions I have undergone these agonies.
