ICICI Bank started off very well and provided very efficient and cost effective solutions to banking to its customer. Then it started proliferating into invariably every financial product and that is where the story of disaster started. I hold credit card, current account and savings account with them. There are numerous incidents which has made me finally close all my relationships with ICICI Bank.
Once they called up my home and offered a savings account to blood relationship with a daily average balance of Rs 2000. I asked my brother to open an account in November 2003. In January 2004 these things levied on him a Quarterly average balance charges of Rs 650. On enquiry they instead started arguing that it is a normal account and it cannot be reversed. On further insistence they have gone underground since last 6 months trying to reverse the charges. These people have fleeced me of Rs 650.
Similarly these things keep coming up various charges like if u deposit cash at other counter other than your own branch, you would be charged sme charges. They started offering free online utility bill payments. After sometime they started levying charges on it. In one of the instance, I have paid Rs 1202 in May 2003 to BSNL towards telephone bill. The amount is still untraceable and I had to make the payment again. agin these sick people have looted me of Rs 1202. Even after more than a year they are investigating an tracing the case of Rs 1202.
They have started playing all kind of back door fleecing of customers. Please be aware of such sick bank with sick and inefficient employees
