I had an ICICI credit card, operated for more than 2 years, everything went well, one day I decided to clear my account and opted for a balance transfer from Std Chartered and deposited the amount in Thane, alas as of date the bankers cheque has not reached my account and still I continue to get the bill. I have already produced and submitted the bakers statement from Standard Chartered and proved to them the cheque number and the date it has been credited, however the bill continues. The documents have been submitted to all the officials who have been in touch and including the collection agents, but still no response. Probably this is the way ICICI has grown . As a bank well spread out and manned but managing the same is very poor. At any point of time it can be witnessed that atleast there are mor than 3 to 4 customers who enter into an argument with the bank staff as they are either not guided properly or given information late. The other day I had been to Vashi branch to deposit amount in an account. ICICI had devised a very good method, ie put the amount in a cover, seal the same, write the details of the deposit as in deposit slip and hand over to the counter. Confirmation can be obtained later. a very good system. But this was not informed to the customer waiting in the que which lead to arguments from many a customer who would have availed the facility if the same would have been politely explained when the rush is more. This makes it a bank with differential treatment. This lead me to close the account last year.
