I closed an Account in ICICI Bank about 2 years ago as they were unable to transfer my account from another City as it was a Trust A/c. They also refused to give net access for viewing the accounts statements. Then the Chembur Branch advised me to close the account. On closing the account, I was asked to withdraw the balance leaving the a/c closing charges. They did not give me acknowledgement to my accoynt closing application, saying that everything is done.
Since then I continue to receive statements everytime adding penalty for not maintaining minimum balance. I have written innumerable times to Customer.care@icicibank.com, called up call center executive and visited the branch where I closed the account. The executive concerned (Ms. Vidya) has been transferred and everyone else expresses inability /ignorance, asking me to write to the Bank. I have given in writing, yet no action. The debit balance keep increasing for no fault of mine.
HUM HAI NA! ...... TO SUCK YOU. EVEN IF YOU LEAVE, THE BANK WILL NOT LEAVE YOU
