ICICI Bank, formerly started as a banking branch of the Gigantic Banking Corporation ICICI Ltd , now has merged with its parent renaming itself as ICICI Bank Ltd. This process has already begun. This bank has had a quick and steady growth as is among the top three Banks in India especially after it took over Bank of Madura enabling itself spread its wings without actually setting up new branches.
Starting as a humble bank, to be the first to enable Internet Banking on a secure SSL Connection called Infinity , it has come a long way. They launched Credit Cards in a big way and after quite some time of its existence I can say that it is of top quality.
The Credit Cards , which are globally accepted come in three variations :-
- Classic
- Silver
- Gold
The classic costs 350/- , silver 700 and Gold 1000/- . Please note that these rates are what I knew last and are highly susceptible to change. All the three cards are only affiliated to VISA and give good value for money .
They are accepted in almost all establishments , the bills come on time ( its not good for the customers though !!! LOL ) and with practically no zilches. But as we are all humans we tend to make mistakes, mess are bound to worm their way through and it ahs happened to me too but the service centres are very friendly and if you point is correct the changes are reversed immediately.
If you Bank with ICICI Bank Infinity is a boon as you can make your credit card payments online. And talking of reward points you have choice of setting it against your Fee Charges , a list of gifts commensurate to the points you have earned or getting Sodexho Passes of the same value which is accepted widely.
And last but not the least I want to clarify that being an account holder and being given good service this review is a pat on the bank of ICICI employees and has no other intentions in any way !!!
