" Lucky Winner " sound like we had won a Jackpot. Recently I had recd call from ICIICI BANK that I am one of the Lucky Winner who hold the credit card & Company is happy to give me Free Insurance worth Rs 25, 000 for one year.
Now the real story.
Person told me that I can get additional 10, 00, 000 life time Insurance by paying only around 800-1000 Per month [ As I do not remember exactly so to be honest ] and I have to pay only and only for 1 year.
He told me that should he proceed further so in my credit card bill they will add that xyz amount every month.
I was happy but was not stupid since I know that I have LIC of Rs 5, 00, 000 and I pay Around Rs 30, 000 as permium per year and that too I have to pay for more 15 years and how come ICICI bank is giving me more amount insurance just for nothing and that too I have to pay only for one year.
I told that person to send me some document via email [ which normally we do not ask for ]. He send me the same and I read that every year person has to renew the insurance.
Same person called me up and said Sir , should I proceed further. I told boss you never told me that every year till I live I have to pay the Premium and he said Sir that is understood.
Thank god that I had saved my money.
Golden Rule in today’s time is be alert and think 100 times if someone say you are lucky winner or it is for free & always check the document before signing it.
