Please read carefully! I had applied for ICICI bank credit card and received it. For a period of first 2 years it was OK. Occasionaly they made mistakes like not indicated payment done but were able to correct themselves.
My misery started when I shifted to other city in 2002. First they took almost a month to change address, the interesting thing was they sent my account statement to the changed address while all remaining offers to old address.
Then one day my old card expired (one year back )and my misery moved towards climax! They did not sent me a renewal card, note here, that my remaining card companies did deliver their cards to my place. After about 2 months I enquired whether they have canceled my card and I was given a reply NO!
Now they started with series of things fiirst they charged me annual fee for unsent card .When I inquired & asked to look into it , next month they sent me a statement with non payment charges added to it.
After a long complaint the next month they reversed the annual fee BUT NOT NON PAYMENT CHARGES.
This scene repeated for two more times I sent them letters, emails and faxes , personal complaint at a branch , a no. of phones but there was no change in their attitude they kept on sending me statements by adding non payment charges.
At one instance they also charged me annual fee twice and then they sent me a statement which contains ANNUAL FEE+ NON PAYMENT CHARGES ON IT THAT TO FOR A CARD NOT RECEIVED BY ME. AND PRESENTLY INCREASED BY 2000/- I HAVE LOST ALMOST A 1000/- Rs. in Phones.
Today I have lost my patience and peace of mind.
A word about customer service- It has worsened over time presently
