This is in reference to my credit card . I have faced lots of problems in taking this credit card as I never expected a bank like ICICI have kept representatives who only bluff and give fake commitments to their customers.I was offered free general insurance from ICICI Lombard for me and my wife through one of your representatives from the credit card dept, however they convinced me and committed that this policy is absolutely free for esteemed class card holders and assured me that a sum of 11000/- will be blocked but will be deducted as a premium of Rs. 945/- for 12 months.


I then objected on taking this policy but again they gave me an assurance that ICICI credit card dept would credit the whole amount in my card account and every month in my statement there would be a debit entry of Rs. 945/- as well a credit entry of the same amount would be posted. After receiving the statement on 29/09/2007, I learnt that I was fooled and cheated by your representatives and prior to their commitment they just wanted to complete their target as only a debit entry of Rs. 945/- is there. Later on I had a word with your customer care executive ( Rinku Jaiswal / Saif Kawari ) and they denied that this policy was not given by the credit card dept and ICICI Lombard had issued this policy directly who acts as a merchant with our bank. I need to know if your customer care executives are unable to solve the query of the customers then what is the use of keeping a customer care open for 24 hrs when none of these jokers know what should be done and to be more surprised if they don’t have an answer they keep us on hold for more then 10 mins, then transfer the call to the IVR and again we go through the same process and explain the whole story to a new executive. The call’s even get disconnected in the middle of the conversation.


Now coming to the point when your representatives have given a fake commitment of the policy being free, the same should be done from your end as I even have recorded the conversations on my cell phone. This has bothered me and in future I don’t want harassment from your collection dept as I don’t owe a single rupee to your bank. I need a resolution immediately by your management or a hard copy of this mail will also be forwarded to Commissioner of Police (Pune), consumer court and all media channels.Kindly note: Calls received from Mr. Sanket and Ms Seema from 022-40869756 / 40869745 / 40869746 / 39839633.
