icici credit card -very pathetic and poor service .


After 2 months of applying this credit card , I was shocked to see some charges reflecting in my monthly statement agnaist some health insurance polices.


When I called to say I didnot apply for this insurance policy , they connected me the line to Lombard Insurance department .


Thereafter I kept on calling after every alternate day and had to send too many mails for immediate cancellation.


Knowing my disinterest, ultimately they cancelled the same and promised to refund the amount which would reflect in next monthly statement.


I found in the statement it was partly reversed.


Again , I had to start calling them up every week or so and send mails for complete refund,


and unfortunately still doing so for the last 5 1/2 months , to refund the complete amt as I did not apply for this insurance policy , and it was enforced to me without my permission.


But as many times , I spoke to the concerned department , they say since they found my signature in their application form, meaning I have willfully applied it andso entire amt cannot be reversed.


It was disgusting. I explained the truth to the higher authority as well as credit card department but as of now its still not solved.


The truth is -


Executive is sent to the customer to collect the documents , so was in my case .


For filling the application, one needs to sign at 5/6 places and going through the text of 8-10 pages is not possible during office hours.



AND One page consists of this "LOMBARD" or any other "UNWANTED " policies.


beware .....beware ....beware ..........................dont sign it.......................as I did it.....and still now suffering for the same.


The executives are also trained to NOT to disclose this information to the customer while getting signature as they are also aware after knowing about the policies , NOBODY would sign it .


This insurance dept wont ask you any cheque seprately from the customer , will simply debit the amount from your credit card account.


In orger to get back of Rs 2200 / I had spent Rs 700-800 on phone calls as everytime I call , they keep transferring one another , to other concern dept, and then on hold for indefinte period.


So I hv finally decided to discard the card immediately and warn you all , NOT to apply for iCICI credit card otherise you too have to finally go to police to lodge a complaint and consumer forrum as well , like me.
