I am having a new bad experience with my ICICI Bank Platinum Credit Card. On April 2nd, a new transaction of 2k has been added in my account. This transaction took place in Big Bazaar on Jan 06th. The amazing thing is that I never performed this transaction. After this transaction 3 billing cycles have been passed.
Now I have sent a dispute letter to the bank. They need 60 days to investigate and want me to pay the amount as of now. If finally the dispute favours me, I will get a refund.
I need advice from you friends. What should I do more to save my money? Has anyone experienced the same problem earlier?

frustrated due to the worst kind of services from ICICI lombard. I want
to end all my relationships from the bank, I have been trapped.
Story
of my harassment started on oct 24, 2006. It was my biggest mistake of
my life that I opted for two lombard health insurance policies. Soon I
realized my mistake, I requested just after 5 hours to cancel the
processings. 5 hours delay became the root cause of my 4 months
harassment from ICICI lombard and it is still going on.
Even if
the cancellation has been requested from my end, ICICI has opened the
policies on NOV 3rd and delivered to my address. I complaint again and
again, so it was cancelled on NOV 13th. I thought that it was end of my
miseries, but I was wrong as the climax was about to begin.
On
NOV 17th, my card has been credited principle amount 12000 and 5800.
Mind you policies have been closed on 13th. I called customer care,
person told me that it will be debited back in the next months
statement.
Only a part of amount is charged in december.

was alarmed that I am going to become a new prey of these banking companies. I
requested customer care to close my credit card account. But they told
me that it is not possible as lombard policy EMI is running on the
account. I told them to close that too. So they charged me in january
like this:

It
is now clearly visible that there is difference of Rs. 387.98 . Which
is INTEREST + SERVICE TAX. I complaint customer care many times, each
time they took 7 working days...2 working days and so...but did
nothing. I have to explain full story every time even after quoting the
complaint numbers. I dont know if they are really dumb or they pretend
so.
Last time I forced the customer care person to connect me
to his manager. He was Mr. Roshan. He got the issue very quickly(thats
why he is the manager), but then to my surprise, instead of solving
things out.. he started to manipulate things. here are the comments
from Mr. Roshan:
1) You have done some mistake in calculation, there is no difference left.
I explained him the difference amount, then...
2) It seems that principle and interest are balanced
out, but service tax is extra.
I explained him the transactions again, then....

It is the problem with credit card department that they have charged
interest...see lombard name is not written in the transaction head.
Oh my god....after some more discussion, when I didnt gave in...
4) The difference is due to some other transaction of your phone bill.....
Now I realized why he is a manager.
We
discussed for more than an hour. Finally he agreed that there is some
amount which is charged extra, other than principle amount. He will
explain the issue to the backend team. I will be getting the reply in
two working days. He took my personal number to call me back.
He never called.........
