It always has been a mystery with the ICICI eligible policy on Credit Cards. Ask me who knows better? Once I approached for an ICICI Card and the next time I was approached. But both the times they rejected. On the second instance they approached me getting an appointment over the phone and came home. The said that I had a pre-approved card and took all the details. On what is the basis the same was approved, the agent who came home does not know ?( may be ICICI does not know). After filling the form, I get a letter after 1 month asking for my office address which I had given. They I get a letter stating that the application for the card is rejected.
What more is surprising is that I have a CITI Bank card, I have a salary account with ICICI bank, I had a fixed deposit also with them (which I withdrew due to this reason) and god knows what more do they need? May some good customer care executives and some logical thinking rule makers?
As a customer who was offered a pre-approved card, they said no reason as to why the same was rejected? That is my they are the Mystery guys in our Indian Card Market. Keep guessing if you have applied for an ICICI Bank Card as you may be the wrong guy for them.
