Well. I have been using credit cards for past 15 years(mostly in US). The ICICI card is first card for me in India. Boy! this sucks! May be I have not experienced other credit cards in India.
After I moved back to India, my employer opened bank account with ICICI and Credit Card tagged along with it. I would pay off full balance way before due date, but never got posted to my account on time. So, I got tired of it, moved to automatic payment thru ICICI Bank account. This went on well, till I changed job and closed my account on ICICI bank. So, I assumed my credit card will also get closed. This assumption creating big problems for me.
I started getting credit card statements asking for payment for Annual fee. I called Customer(No) service to complain. After couple of attempts I got a live person, and put this charge on dispute. Now I received another statement. here it goes.
Auto Debit Return Fee: 250
. Service Tax : 30.90
Late Payment Fee: 350
. Service tax: 43.26
Interest charges: 8.07
Today, I called up. Computers are down, so I am waiting to call again. or May be I will lodge complaint to consumer court.
