TWO YEARS AGO, I HAD SIGNED THE CREDIT CARD FORM OF ICICI BANK BECOZ THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE HAD REQUESTED ME THAT HE NEEDED TO ACHIEVE HIS TARGETS. I GOT NOT ONE BUT TWO CREDIT CARDS. I DIDNT USE THEM AND GOT THEM CANCELLED AT END OF THE YEAR AFTER CALLING UP THE CALLCENTRE. WHERE THEY ASKED ME TO FURNISH YOUR DETAILS LIKE NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE
IDENTIFICATION NO, CUSTOMER IDENTIFICATION NO, CARD PIN NO.S ETC. THEN, THEY WANTED TO KNOW WHY I DIDNT USE THE CARDS AND THE REASONS FOR DISCONTINUATION. I GOT IT CANCELLED AFTER QUITE SOME EFFORT.
JUST ONE MONTH LATER THEY SENT ME ANOTHER TWO CARDS STATING I WAS AMONG THEIR ’PRIVILEGED’ CUSTOMERS(WHATEVER THAT MEANS). I AGAIN WAITED FOR A FEW MONTHS AND GOT THE CARDS CANCELLED.
again after making a few calls to the call centre. Then they used to call meup every other day and demanded the reason for getting the cards canceled. Just a few weeks ago, their representative came and asked me to fill in an ’ATTRITION’’ form , meaning for customers who had returned the cards.
I filled it and just a few days later I get another unsolicited card. I AM FED UP OF
CALLING THE IDIOTS AND ASKING THEM TO CANCEL MY CARD EVERY TIME.THEY R WAITING FOR 1 OF US TO FORGET HIS DUE DATE SO THEY MAY CHARGE THE ANNUAL FEE OF A FEW HUNDRED RUPEES!
cant we have a govt regulation that no bank cud send cards without written request from customer?
And all those who ve been to their branches, courtesy and respect is a word their employees need to be trained in!THEY BEHAVE AS IF THEY R DOING US A FAVOR!
ICICI shud also publish the list of all their hidden charges, which are many and LEVIED for THE flimiest reasons, WITHOUT INTIMATION TO US AND WITHOUT BEING CLEARLY DEFINED IN STATEMENTS IN ANY WAY!
do we know that they charge for atm usage more than 3 times in a month, and if u visit a branch other than where u have an account for the second time in a month, they have a charge for this also.im a member only as long as I hav a powerpay account!then im through with these cheats!
IF THEY CALL THEMSELVES THE NO.1 CREDIT CARD CO. IN INDIA, WHY R THEY RESORTING TO FORCED DISTRIBUTION OF CARDS? DONT THEY HAV B**LS TO IMPROVE THEIR SERVICE THAT PEOPLE THEMSELVES ASK FOR THEIR CARD?
