ICICI Bank is deaf or stupid, or both.
I have an ICICI Bank credit card and I have been paying my bills on time. This year they debited me with Rs 12000 as balance transfer, which was never done. I tried contacting their call centre but it makes you wait 20 minutes before they tell you, "Wait another 2 days." Then I wrote an e-mail stating the debit of Rs 12000 and somebody called up only to say that they need 5 days to reply.
Again somebody called me to say that the balance transfer related to my HSBC card. This was never done, and I told him that. In the meantime I got a reply to my e-mail saying that the balance transfer related to HDFC card. It seems ICICI cannot make up its mind where they have transferred the money. The balance transfer to HDFC card is being paid in instalments and 4 out 6 instalments have already been paid, still they debited me with Rs 12000.
The head customer service is some kind of a fool. He does not seem to understand the problem. I wrote an e-mail and after a month, got an unstisfactory reply from him. Now I am getting bills with late payment charges and overlimit charges. I really dont know what to do for this harrassment, except that I have to go to the courts for this needless procedure.
