Review : hello everybody... I am having SB Account with Icici bank for more than 2 yrs and never faced any problems what-so-ever. One year back, I got Credit card too from the same bank thru their marketing executives. I have been thinking whether to apply or to reject. I have furnished all the details reqd. and just completed all the formalities when asked about the credit limit, they told me that I will be getting 20, 000/- initially and based on the usage, my limit will be increased in next 6 months. To my surprise....i got my HPCL SILVER CARD in a weak but with a credit limit of just 12000/-. When asked they have answered technically and I was convinced.
Till date I never faced any problems relating to fuel charges, hidden charges, monthly statements etc... 3 months back...they have also increased my credit limit to 42000/- which really made me happy. Within a year, I never seen any credit card company increasing a limit more than 3 times of the existing limit. Now I can able to use this card more often than before.
On seeing other reviews reg. icici credit card problems, lot depends on the situation of the person using it. If he is going to fill fuel for his vehicle thru HPCL Credit card..he should fill in HP only and not in other petrol bunks which will be attracted 2% surcharge. I never had this problem. I never went to bank for banking purpose. I often do it thru online banking itself. So u can imagine how good is their network and service.
In short.. ICICI credit card is worth having!
