Just few minutes back I was in ICICI bank, Bhopal, i had a great interaction with great offer on FD with few sales reps. It can be eye opener for those who think that information given by "Bank employees" is somewhat right. So incident was. This great sales rep. came from somewhere & asked me, "Sirrr do you have a normal account in ICICI bank (Please suggest me what is normal)".
Then with a dumb face he clarified me that he is talking about Savings Account. I said, yes I do have. Then he told me that about that great offer ( Mr. Kamath dont even dare to read this**) Sir, *FD per interest rate girne wala hai, abhi FD karwalo (Interest rates on FD are going down in 2 to 3 days) as if he is an informer from RBI. I asked him.
OK, give me some written material. His answer was "we dont have anything in written". OK, it happens with ICICI, bearable. Now the real story begins, he told me that if i go for 190 days of FD, ICICI bank will give me 10.5% rate of interest, GOOD.
Also (extra ’o’ to show his desperation), if I go for an INSTA CARD facility, something similar to credit card, but much better featured. I will get a credit limit of 80% of my FD amount, plus I can go for cash withdrawal of upto 30% of total amount. Also bank is not (Disclaimer: ICICI Bank policy maker, don’t read this *) going to charge any interest on cash withdrawal for next 48 days. WOW!!!!! I asked him dude, if this is the offer then I can go for a big ticket deposit (whatever I have, ticket to my entrepreneurial success). I eagerly asked, please connect with me to some senior. After seeing my eagerness, with a winning smile, he told me at 6:30 evening that *Sorry sir, abhi to koi nahi hai, aap kal a sakte hain kya. (Sorry sir nobody is present at this moment, can you please come tomorrow*). I said I don’t have time*, so he asked me for my cell, **I gave him my cell. After 20 mints I received a call from 09300108 (senior sale rep. named Asha [Hope]) & she confirmed me every thing, whatever committed by shrewd sales rep.
Please those who are interested, ask me for the number. Name of great sales rep. I had interacted with is SANTOSH (9926928***). By putting numbers, this FD scheme is. Let say I deposited Rs 10, 00, 000/- in my ICICI account for one year, then I will get a interest of Rs. 105000 annually. Plus, I can withdraw Rs 3, 00, 000/- for 48 days for 0% interest.
So If I return this amount after 45 days and re-withdraw it from bank then, actually I am enjoying 3 lakh for free. And getting a interest of 15 %. Moreover if I again invest that 300000 Rs say in shares. I can earn around 10 % interest. So Rs. 30000 more.
