CHEATING BY ICICI HOME FINANCE FIXED DEPOSITS

Please never open an account with ICICI Bank or invest on Fixed Deposits with ICICI Home Finance. This is my experience: I am in Bangalore and having an account with State Bank of India for the last 20 years and I am a very happy customer.

Unfortunately for my demat account with Indiabulls I was asked to open an account with ICICI Bank. I asked the ICICI agent to open an account with Malleswaram Branch. The agent brought the cheque book of Koramangala Branch which is about 20 kms. from my residence. When I went to withdraw some amount by cheque they made me to wait for 45 minutes and finally said the signature is not tallying. I showed my Driving licence and they said it is 30 years old and so I should get something else to prove my identity. Everytime I had problem and finally out of disgust I closed the account.

Meanwhile I deposited some amount in FD for 3 years and they gave a pamphlet showing the interest as 11.4% annually. When I received the deposit recept the interest was mentioned as 10.3%.

After 3 months of repeated letters and phone calls I got the FD interest changed to 11.4%. Later on I have sent several letters to ICICH regarding my cancellation of ICICI account and gave my SBI account and also the Change of my residential address. Though it is 28th April I have not received my interest amount for the year ending 31.3.2009. On enquiry it is said that they have sent the cheque on 20th april 2009 and the courier is received by someone. But so far we have not received the cheque. Usually when we are not available at home the courier people make a call to us and come when we are at home. But nothing of that sort has happened.

I am 66 years old and repenting for having invested in this ICICI Home Finance which is a big cheat. MORE THAN ANYTHING NO WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF ICICI HOME FINANCE (TO WHOM WE CAN SEND OUR GRIEVANCES). Will somebody help me in this regard.

Thanks
