Bad experience with ICICI Lombard

I had a very bad experience with ICICI Lombard. I had met with an accident on 3rd November 2005. I was driving my Honda Eterno.The Scooter got ruptured from one side. I informed ICICI with the event and they gave me claim no. They asked me with the workshop where the scooter was to be taken. I told them the Honda workshop one I knew. But in the mean time I came to know that there is another Honda authorised workshop very near to my home. So I decided to take my scooter there for denting & painting. Everything was right uptill this time. The workshop people helped a lot in this. The problem started in making the surveyor to visit at the workshop for inspection of vehicle.But no one visited.I had to beg them for two weeks for it asking every person in the customer care of ICICI to please survey the vehicle. Well, atleast the survey was done.Now came the second phase of the problem. I waited for 2.5 months for my claim. Firstly, I had lodged a complaint for this then after one week I was told that you don’t have the policy no.For policy no. I launched a second complaint for non-receipt of it. Then again I waited for very long time and called them now and then. No customer care executive told me any process. Ultimately, I received the claim as if I was begging them for money. No customer representative is thorough with processes. They misguide the customer. You have to beg the surveyor like anything.
