Do not purchase this policy if you reading this visit any other insurance company else you will not be happy.
Purchased a motor insurance through ICICI Lombard and I was sent the policy with a wrong address on it, though it was NOT entered by me on the website. After wasting a lot of time and effort got the right documents which was now an endorsement and tried to renew it the next year.
I was told that the policy that I hold is not the actual policy number and since there were changes made the policy had some changes in it. I have not been offered an compensation for all the time and effort that was spent to first rectify the error and on top of this the entire business is outsourced to citel a call center based in Hyderabad which handles all the problems and since it is an outsourced process.
They do not handle escalations well, they promise you something and turn back and pass the buck to ICICI Lombard. I am cancelling the policy due to the bad customer service and NO CALL CENTER ETIQUETTE - an outsourced business and you are NOT DEALING WITH STAFF OF ICICI LOMBARD--BEWARE.
