I was sold a insurance policy along with home loan from ING Vysya. It undertook to repay my entire loan if I passed away within 5 years.
I some how did not pass away and prepaid my loan for which the insurance was taken. As per their rules I asked them to discontinue the policy and refund the balance. They said it was alright and would be done.
Then came their blooper that the loan account mentioned by me does not match the one in their records, though all other personal details were mine.
I have no loan account number as quoted by them. They have been taking premium from me on some fictitious account number, and they are now not refunding them amount quoting the difference in numbers. It is totally their problem and their data entry problem. I think it is their modus operandi and a fraud is being committed by then in connivance with ING Vysya.
