My Mother Age 60 was suffering last one year from the Arthritis & its very critical. So for the treatment we visited to Kalyan Fortis Hospital & after initial diagnosis Dr. Ashish Arbat suggested for the Knee replacement. Dr.Ashish Arbat Expert in surgery at Kalyan Fortis. He also helped us for the next plan of action and how we will proceed with the treatment.
We discussed with him about 1 hour about the operation & He explain very well .
He also guide us for the insurance claim. So we visited to the Billing counter , Mrs Sareeka Chumble explain us very well about how to get planned surgery pre-approval for knee replacement. On same day I follow the process for the pre-approval i.e Hospital Form, X-copy of Pan card, Cashless Card, X-ray report of Knee & Dr. Prescription . Within 12 Hours I got he initial approval of Rs 200000.
After 6 days my mother got discharged from hospital & Final amount of bill was 265000 & ICICI Lombard approved 248707 & rest of amount which is non-consumable , Non-Medical =16200 we need to pay.
