Just want to mention the hard time which I had and also having after buying ICICI Lombard health insurance.
I admitted my father for almost 1.5 month at apollo hospital where he was diagnosed with a disease for the very first time. Treatment I took at our own expense because ICICI TTK healthcard is not accepted at Apollo Hospital New Delhi!!!!
I thought to put the claim later on. I submitted all the documents listed on the website of TTK Health care services ( http://www.ttkhealthcareservices.com). But to get a claim from ICICI is not so easy as I expected. Now they are asking thousand of questions with doctor’s certificate. It doesn’t make any sense as everything is very clear in Discharge Summary and Medical reports submitted.
This is just they want to give hard time to their customer and nothing else. My claim hasn’t settled yet and i’ll see what can I do. Probably I have to knock door of Conusmer court!!!
With this review I just want to conclude that please be careful and think thrice!!! before buying any insurance policy from ICICI Lombard.
