Guys, I bought a ICICI lombard health advantage plus policy for individual in Jan 2008 through icici lombard online registration service. Registration process is quite simple doesn’t take more than 5 minutes for everything setup.
But now the problem starts. I paid Rs 15000 as premium for this health insurance but one month is over and till now don’t received my kit which includes Card, Network hospital lists, Checkup coupons and hard copy of policy. I write several mails to them and every time I got a reply that forwarded to concerned department and they will solve soon.
This is not a matter of any reimbursement of Claim, which they will solve. I just asked to send the kit. If they have problem in sending the kits, then you can think of how much problem will arise when asking for any claims. I also talk to online chat service(Ravi - Representative) when that hear policy not received then just say SORRY and not replied to any query or give solution.
Thanks health isurance is renewed every year, so that’s sure, I will not renew the policy from these lombard cheaters. And advice to all, never buy a policy from these. But many of you thinking why I bought such a high premium policy, so answer is this policy covers OPD, so definately I make some claims may be Rs 1000/- only in a year, so I will know in how much time they clear the claims and howz the service in case of emergency with my heath. Now I have to save myself for at least 1 year, because they will not be helpful in emergency. And all the awards shown on their website proves that they are bought from money.
So, Final words - never fall in any gimmick from ICICI Lombard. Their service is too bad.
