In February 2008, my wife had to be hospitalized for a surgery. Since we have a health insurance policy with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, we availed their cashless card facility and were not disappointed in the hour of need.
Well of course, there were these little problems and irritating factors(it happens with all insurance companies) that we faced, but its a huge outfit that they are managing. I guess there is a lot of pressure involved and you have to make sure that a claim is genuine.
On my part, I am quiet satisfied and happy that my claims were settled. I would therefore like to thank ICICI Lombard GIC and TTK for the service they provided and expect them to maintain their standards in future. I will definitely buy ICICI Lombard policies, but I genuinely hope that I do not have to make any claims in future.
