A beautiful journey called ICICI prudential life started going awfully wrong somewhere in the begining of this year(2009).
Lovingly called the cradle of insurance, it set out benchmarks for others to implement and the university has produced alumnus of repute.all insurance companies can boast of taking a lesson or 2 from here.
But professionality gave way to personal ambitions.employee welfare became a thing of the past.Agency business forgot respecting the advisors.Customer service has been creating many benchmarks.but all of them seem paper tigers.as the customer on ground and he has started cursing the processes which has made this company more robotic in its functioning.
HR policies have taken a backseat.sundays are only meant to be shown on paper.respect for every individual of the family has gone.a company known for its grandeur has become so frugal that necessary expenses have also been chopped off to see the much elusive breakeven.
in my past 2 years with the company I have seen the Riches to Rags story.yes I wrote it right.career growth, employee welfare.all have taken a backseat.what matters is onlydhandha.everyone is working on his KPIs, the so called professionalism has become the reason for its downfall.no one is bothered about the organisation.senior management has closed its eyes and ears and does not realise that happy employees take the organisation ahead but fact here is quite the opposite.
Recommendation for anybody planning to join the organisation is beware it aint the old pru.you may see some nasty surprises come your way
