As my old policy has matured and I was about to get my matured amount of Rs.2.5Lakhs, an ICICI associate called me saying that they cannot given the entire amount now .Only 1.5 L only they can give. Remaining 1 lakh they will give after 2 years with interest.
With no other go, I accepted. But the surprise is.after a month I got a call saying that I have to pay Rs.1 Lakh as premium for the policy I had purchase.
I was shocked saying that I didnt purchase any policy.
Later I came to know that these guys have purchased a new policy without my consent with my money.(that 1 lakh)
When I escalated this to icici prudential escalation officer, Ms. Ashwini Bondale via gro@iciciprulife.com, I am getting a reply thatI have to detail information about the call .
I have already detailed the happenings.
How is this possible for a customer to have a voice call recording?
where is my consent for the policy?
did I give any written consent?
or did I give any voice consent over phone? NOTHING.
ICICI prudential GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE is the next level of escalation . so I went to that webpage.
There .after entering all my frustration .it is giving error messageYour message cannot be saved at this moment . How is it?
For the 3rd level of escalation they have given Ombudsman, I am expecting this reply.
For the 4th level they didnt mention any mail id or phone, but simply mentioned as IGMS. Let us see.
63432250 is the new policy created on my name with out my knowledge.
