Poor Customer Service- Information Unsafe NOW!

I am in my 3rd Year policy which active and have been paying the premium each year. As any other insurance company, I am sent regular reminder regarding the premium amount, the policy number and the date the policy ends, to continue to enjoy the benefits of the policy.


On 15thJuly13, I have noticed that I have now received information about another customer in my inbox, with all his details required, policy number, premium amount, renewal date and which product he/she has purchased and I was surprised and shocked to see this information.


==If you are still thinking what has happened next, I must say, please understand that I am now having some ones information with me, which means my information is now floating with some one else, == which is against the rules and regulations of the company.


It looks like the customer service business might have been outsourced to contact center based in Madhya Pradesh and it is very very hard to get in touch with them and they will not allow you to speak to a supervisor, after 4hours of agony, I have managed to get some managers names in case it helps you Ashish Patidarr  - Supervisor or TL , Mr.Mohammed Shafi - Manager, Amandeep Singh Gill - Customer Service Manager.


So far, I am being told that there was a technical problem and hence the information about a different customer has come to me. All that fraudsters require is some basic information such as these and they can build upon this and even make claims and lot of other things, which means I personally think, my information is not secure in the computers of the company, but is on the fate of the person who is going to get  my information .


There is no one to reply to emails and I am only getting standard responses that some one will look into this for me.


I have been promised of a call back from the actual staff of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, in the meanwhile there is a complaint section on the website at the bottom of the home page and I have filled up the form for grievance redressal, hoping some one my get back on this.


Ms. Gayatri Nathan (Vice President- Customer Services & Operations) is on level 2 and then Senior Grievance Redressal Officer, Mr. Deepak Kinger. I certify that this is my honest, personal review based on my own experience.
