I had a policy with ICICI Prulife for last 4 years. I was in urgent need on money and thus have asked ICICI to surrender the policy and had submitted all the relevant documents for the same on 11th August. They said they would require 4 working days to process it, also say they have processed successfully, but I have not received the funds now and its been more than a month since they have said they are done with the surrender. I had chosen the Direct transfer option to transfer the funds in the same account from which the premium was getting deducted for the policy.
For the past 4 years, they have been able to successfully deduct the money from my account for their premiums, but when it is for payback, they tried it 4 times in a month and are still not able to do it. When I gave a call to the call center for the same, they are neither able to give me any reasons for transfer not happening, nor are able to give me any transaction ID or something that they have with the bank. When I called up the bank, I was told that they never received any funds from ICICI Pru life, which clearly suggests that whatever claims ICICI is making is completely false and the thing is that it just does not want to pay back the money they have eaten up.
When I call up their call centre, I could talk to one of their floor supervisors, who was as useless as others. the call was escalated to Kiran Kumar, who said he was a senior supervisor on the floor. He with all his commitments, assured me on his personal behalf that he will personally look into the matter and will get back to me in 24 hours with what is the status. He, like the other ==ICICI PRU LIFE, have not got back to me yet, and it has been more than 3 days now.
Thus it is a clear indication that ICICI Prulife knows how to take money, cheat people, are actual CHORs and then steal away the money without paying it back!!!!!
Thus I thought this is a good medium to make all you people aware of how this organisation called ICICI Pru Life works when they want to take money, and when they want to give it back. I would urge all of you who have invested mobney with ICICI PRU, kindly remove it ASAP since its going to take at elast a year from now to get it back. If you are planning to invest more, dont ever think. The only reason ICICI PRU has started off with Life Insurance policies is that they are the actual LIFE SUCKERS when it comes to money and thus provide insurance against life threats from their own way of behaviour.
Also I have rated them 1 here as I do not have a scale value lesser than that as they deserve much less a rating than what minimum this site provides.
To add top the above incident, Ashish Singh from escalation team, anotehr high profiled person (as he claims) in ICICI Pru, promised me that he will mail me and I will have to submit the bank statement in return. This guy (as other ICICI PRU people, never got back to me. I again ahd to call them up and find it out and he re-assured me thaqt he will mail me. I held th ecall and told him to do it and am not hanging up till its done. then this guy actually mails me. How frustrating is this for a customer service. Thus I have decided to surrender all the otehr policies worthing premium of about 1 Lakh and also urge people having money with ICICI to take it off as they may eat it up anytime. Their customer service sucks as their policies and they themselves do. Also they have assured me to take 48-72 hours, post which I am giving a run to Consumer court and IRDA with this.
I have been assured by them that I will have to mail them my Bank Statement on their mail ID, which UI will get in an email. I have not received any mail communication or any thing from them yet and do not hope so to get it... I think I am moving ahead to consumer court and have also mailed it to IRDA and requested them to take strict actions, maybe extending to the extet of cancellation of their license if possible...
I urge you guys to take a leaf out of this and NOT AT ALL think of investing with ICICI PRU. I have informed this to 1 of my friends who was investing 5 Lakh with ICICI Pru per year and he has also decided to withdraw the money on this grounds and am spreading the message ahead!!!!
Thus you guys also follow it and do not continue with this INDIAN CHOR group.
