If you have any policies which completed more than 3yrs ago, expect lot of calls from their 3rd party vendors or from ICICI employees itself. The caller says that your policy is not making money and asks you to close it or move it to a new policy. Looks like ICICI does not have control over our contact data or they gave it to their vendors free.
I am a victim of these calls. I get at least one call per week asking me to close my policy as it is not making money currently.The standard reply the customer care service gives -- Add your no. in DND.
I personally sat with their Risk Manager and recorded the conversation I had with a 3rd party couple of weeks ago. Last week again there was a call from their own employee asking to close my policy.
When I challenged the Risk manager stating that ICICI sold my data he said he could not say no to the statement.I advice not to buy any policies with ICICI. It is not a trustworthy company.
