I took a term insurance from ICICI prudential. After the medical test it came out that my cholesterol level is high. My coverage was reduced by 35%. Though I didn’t understand the reason completely, I agreed.
It has been 2 months since I paid them money and had medical test. Till now I have not received the policy. any number of calls to sales person, operations head has not solved the problem.
I was given a letter - that they call welcome letter - saying that the policy has been accepted. I am sure if something happens to me and my wife goes for claims, ICICI is going to show her the door.
I recommend not to go to ICICI prudential for any product. The moment I get the policy, I am going to cancel it. Has anybody had similar problems? Or am I an exception?
Somehow, I am getting disenchanted by any ICICI brand product. I had problems with their credit card, Personal Loan. and now this.
