I selected this mutual fund because this was the only fund house which allowed me to buy online (I am a US-based NRI) last year (Mar 2005).

The average return on the fund which I bought, PruICICI Growth, was about 50%.

I receive NAV updates from their backoffice, camsonline.com, after I subscribed for it.

No, I would’nt recommend this fund house to anybody because of their sloppy service.

My Experience :- I bought this fund online last March (05). It allowed me to use online banking (thro’ ICICI Bank) to pay for PruICICI Growth. Even though it was a hot, instant payment, we had to send a signed application form and the PIN Agreement for accessing online thro’ PruTracker. To this date (ie., after 1 WHOLE YEAR), they have’nt received my application form and Pin Agreement. Nobody bothered to inform me about the same. The corporate office is probably a BLACK BOX. You never get acknowledgement for any documents you send into it. The response is always ’’Please note that we have’nt received your PIN Agreement’’ for repeated emails I send to the customer service. I have send the PIN Agreement twice from here in the US, once when I was on vacation in India, once through my friend who went to India on vacation - a total of 4 TIMES. And the response is ALWAYS the same. May be they just throw out document which you send by ordinary post and try (only try) to process documents which are couriered to them with a tracking number.
I am just wating for a good time to get out of this house.
Am I the only one who has a bad experience or are there others out there ? Has anybody, if at all, has had a good experience ?
