I had submitted the application for ICICI direct.com in Nov. The application was rejected given the reason that it is filled in blue. The application does not say it anywhere except the fact that the sign on photo should be black. So once again I submitted the fresh application and all the compliance documents and made all the required signatures. Once again the application was not considered giving some weird reasons. After 3 weeks one representative came to my home saying they have to do the post verification. He once again took the signatures, all the documents and post verification form. He assured that the application will be considred now as compliance is done(In fact it was done already.anyway!).
After 2 weeks, I went to their sluggish website to see that application is rejected due to missing signatures! This is horrible. The application must have been reviewed by ICICI 100 times before sending it to central processing centre. Their representive simply denied to visit my home for taking the signatures saying that he has no time. I am having an account with ICICI Bank since 6 years.
I do not want to pursue further and have cancelled the application now. Looks like HDFC sec people are better than these. They are efficient at least.
