Let me begin my review on how I ended up buying my pair of ID shoes. I was actually looking for casual shoes and was sick and tired of the really drab Lee Cooper shoes that I have. Sure they are steel toe and are really sturdy but they are the regulation black and are really run of the mill in terms of looks. So one fine day I was sipping on my coffee in the mall when I notice Zahid Khan wearing an absolutely wicked pair of shoes. The shoes in question were indigo coloured leather with yellow outlines. At first I was under the impression that they were just a computer animated shoe for the advert. But no the moment I walked into the show room there it was the most brilliant pair of shoes. Indigo coloured leather. Light coloured suede all around and to top it all the leather was sewn together in large strips. The boots are the most expensive you can get from ID priced at at 2300 Rs. the shoes are a part of the Vampire series of shoes. I simply loved the shoes the moment I laid eyes on them. The shoes are available in both slip on and lace version. I decided to go for the slip on shoes which are comfortable as hell. The shoes are also supposed to have a fancy air circulation system to ensure proper aeration but I feel like all other so called technologies that is just a fancy name for a few semi porous holes at the bottom. But yeah the soles of my feet sure do get a little cold in the winter guess it really does work. However since my review is on the entire range of ID shoes available. I must mention that ID does mainly only casuals and sandals. The sandals for some reason do not appeal to me much and I feel they are not exactly as popular as the casual shoes. You can wear ID to da club. To work and hell if you are adventurous like me try wearing them with a pair of cargos brilliant combination. I would rate the ID shoes for range a 5 star on the casual front as they are in my thought the first brand in India that has actually pioneered the field of casual shoes. If you read up on the history you can always visit the website at https://mbfootwear.com . I believe the shoes are named after the initials of the designer of the shoes. The day I walked into work with the shoes I had half of my team go buy some ID shoe or the other. However I still find the Vampire series the most desirable of the ID shoes. All in all if you have a budget of 2500 Rs. And are looking for casuals go for ID they beat the competition hands down.
