Disappointed from Idea

I have personally used this particular network operator in NCR region. the tariffs are higher for prepaid users. But he tariffs for postpaid are good. They provide good plans in postpaid services. So I was convinced with the plans they were giving and ported to Idea network few months back. Though many of my friends told me that the services are not so good. The network issues are more often faced by people with this operator. But I did not heed to those warnings and moved on and ported to my no. to Idea operator. The network issues were so severe and had so much of problem in every areas that sometimes it was not tolerable even. People trying to call me it says the number is busy even when it is not busy or my phone is lying all vacant. Such bad networks. Sometimes it would say network unavailable or person is out of coverage area or so. Many such errors. Many times network used to run away and had to manually select the network from the network always which was difficult thing doing this for like 20 times a day.


For few days was able to use good internet. I was completely satisfied with the 3G speeds and 2G as well. Had a great time using the internet of idea for few days only but. Just 15 days would have passed and internet was big problem. Using 3G was a big problem. Many times it would not catch 3G networks or many times if it would then the speeds were so poor. Could not even surf properly on 3G. It mad me really sic using the bad internet and calling were already a issue for me.


While even talking in phone sometimes call would disconnect on its own. Had to face this sort of difficulty many times. And if immediately calling the same person the call could never connect giving vague reasons service unavailable or not reachable or so.


Any how I have to complete 90 days now with this operator and then finally while I was done with almost 90 days I requested for my number to be ported to some other operator.


They started calling me giving better services and try to convince by giving better plans but ofcourse I was so fed up with the service. Could not bare it more than I had already tolerated in 90 days.
