I had taken a BSNL mobile connection in the name of my father-in-law in 2006. I was very happy with their service. But towards the end of 2014, I became eligible for mobile reimbursement in my office and I wanted bills issued in my name to avail this benefit. When enquired with BSNL, they said that they cannot transfer ownership. It was during this time that I got a call from IDEA offering their service. When I checked with them about ’Ownership-transfer’, they apparently’enquired’ and answered in affirmative.
Trusting that a big organization like IDEA would not LIE, I ported my number to IDEA.
Bad decision
After about 2-3 months of porting to idea, when i finally called them to change’ownership’, they simply refused. They now say that they do not provide this facility. Just like that.
First they say that they can transfer ownership and make us port to idea. Once we ’ullus’ do that, they simply shrug away!
What is this other than ’ullu banawing’? I am soon going to switch back to BSNL. They seem to be the best service provider in India.
