I used Idea for nearly 3 years. The network coverage is fast and good in kerala even in rural areas. Their customer care is also good. The customer care is very pleasing and they are quite good in answering our queries to great extent. Mobile internet for 2G and 3 G is also good with excellent speed and wide coverage. The network was down only once in my use and knowledge and that is quite exception case. They are the oldest one and having network in throughout of India. Cost basis they are good for the mobile call rate and mobile data cost. Its need to improve their mobile data speed when connect to lap top. They just need to improve their coverage in nearby state such as Tamil Nadu etc. Idea had full talk time option if we charge through online via idea website. They have good tariff rate options also to get discount for the call rate deductions. I had moved to idea when I got transfer to kerala and migration was also easy with idea.
Idea 2G, 3G mobile internet is also good. I had used reliance net connect plus data card for 3 years and it’s very costly and service is not good. Recently they asked me to buy new data card for Rs. 1700 because they discontinued CDA and I know it’s not worth to buy for Rs. 1700 and again spending money on recharges. Then I found the Idea 3 G my wife using is good speed and have good network coverage most place in kerala. I had consulted many and many told me you can use Wi-Fi to connect to your lap top and internet can be used in both mobile and lap top at the same time. I charged for Rs. 650/ for idea 3 G on mobile and using it. There were not much of issue like reliance. For Rs. 650 package we will get 5 GB data and 28 days validity. I never faced network down issue like Reliance for 15-20 days in a month and no response from the customer care saying network is down and currently we are unable to check. ==They had given option to get customer care personal in various languages which is not there in reliance net connect customer.= The customer care personal will also patiently helps us to solve the technical doubts. Fantastic to go with idea always.
