I choose IDEA. IDEA is good especially from accurate billing perspective.But they really really are very backward from providing customer service especially from high-tech point of view.
Quick online payment (on-phone), quick technical assistance (not after 24 hrs as they currently do which is irritating and of no use), Network problems, dialer tone facility (which is highly unreliable, for whatever tone you select, the first thing that is played is marketing their facilities.
For example when someone calls you, ’If you want to copy this tone press star’ is played first and then your tone! So just imagine whether ever the caller could ever get a chance to hear your selected tone as usually call is recieved within max 2 min!) and finally the VOICE SMS facility which is damn irritating one. Nowdays if you cant call someone (IDEA user) and the call cant be reached then IDEA plainly plays its record of sending VOICE SMS, I guess a way to cover-up their network problems!
Though I was aware of the sliding quality of IDEA services, recently I bought IDEA NET SETTER because it required less paper work. The NET SETTER never ever provided good connection so one can imagine what the speed would be! I paid 3500 for this damn thing and finally just after 4 months had to throw it. I trusted IDEA but IDEA proved a great disaster.
As a replacement, I got this new 3GB RELIANCE data card and it works great. It provides connection :) and it also provide super fast speed!
Overall, IDEA is getting too backward, I guess they probably are not upgrading to advanced software systems that players like Reliance or Vodafone are doing. The only good thing about IDEA is that they have more outlets then other players but I guess that cant be the selling point, they got to improve for to survive.
