I liked idea earlier and because of that i switched on to this network when they launched in mumbai. There were issues with their customer service off & on .. But i managed all this while.
They launched there 3g services which i was eagerly waiting for and i subscribed to it on day 1. Once it was activated i had the problem of my life with the network connectivity etc etc . To which i came to a conclusion that 3g services were not helpful as they had lot of glitches and issues. With all these issues i finally dropped the 3g plan and went back to 2g data and service plan. I thought they should know why i disconnected so i decided to send them screen shots of the issues i faced. I send them a few and they were worried abt the services and decided to call me. I got a call explaining these were initial issues and give us an opportunity to resolve. I insisted not to go back on a 3g plan , but they managed to convince me for a test. So they activated 3g again & we started testing.
Few days of testing and i kept on sending them issues with no network , no data network etc etc and was tired. They could not fix the issue. They told me some part of 3g services were with airtel and they have escalated the issue. They did not get back to me , i called a few times and got to know they were no longer working on the case and did not bother to inform me. While testing they de activated my 2g data plan and not to my awareness they just activated a small 3g plan which will obviously not suit my data needs. I wasnt aware they did this , i only got to know when i saw my bill. I called them up and they did not have answer. They said it was logical for the 2g plan to deactivate as 3g plan was activated by them. So wasnt it logical to activate a higher limit 3g data plan when my usage was high ? .. I spoke to them numerous time after that , but they refused to help and kept on saying not our problem. So they billed me on actual usage of 3g which i wasnt aware off and i had to shell out 3600 rupees extra cos of thier mistake, and because i co operated to test and resolve their issues. This has truly made me go against idea as all the test was to sort out their issues and it had not much to do .. Ultimately i paid the price. Wrote manish & larisa numerous mails but no answer , they dont even pick up my calls.
Bloody idea .. I will move out to a ethical company soon .. Shame on you guys to make a customer pay for your mistakes and testing which you wanted to do.
