Worst customer service - third class people

I just came back from long term US assignment and converted my prepaid(which my Mom used to use) to postpaid service with idea. First they disconnected my prepaid connection and after three days they started my postpaid connection, so I was disconnected for three long days. Horrible three days. I follwed up for more than 10 times with idea customer care and no one told me that I have to call their 59059 number to activate the account, I got it to know from one of my friend.


Worst call center experience:




  • Very poor sound quality of call center employee




  • lot of background noice at call center - I felt that all the customer care person are seating in a sabji mandi.




  • Call center employees are not trained on how to speak to customers




  • to avoid interaction with call centre I logged on online and found that my hometown address has been incorrectly updated as "TALEGAON" from "THERGAON", so again I called call centre and they told me that I have to visit IDEA office to correct this mistake which was the result of idea data entry person.




  • With this kind of horrible experience with IDEA, I have decided that  I will migrate from IDEA




  • NOW with experience whenever I hear IDEA advt - pumplin-pumplin, it irritates me.




  • I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IDEA CELLULAR SERVICE TO ANYONE.
