I literally had very bad experience with Idea past month that I ultimately had to port my sim to vodafone.
I am based out in Pune Hinjewadi but I am damn sure that customer support is same all over.
Issue which I was facing:
As soon as I upgrading my sim to 4g connection and recharged the 347 plan i.e. unlimited calling and daily 1GB internet my phone became just dump.
My call use to drop every one minute.
My internet connectivity being 4g was no less then 2g connection.
When I complained about this to customer care they registered my complain and asked me to verify the location, I told my pincode post that they gave a date of 5days later saying that your issue will be resolved by then.
5 days later I got a message that we are closing your request as this has been processed , there was technical fault n your area and it’s working all right now.
Post that , the issue was like that only I complained once again and everything happened in same order as explained.
Finally as soon as my monthly plan expired I decided to port to Vodafone network.
