I am an experienced software engineer. I have recently started using idea prepaid for 3G and phone services. I must say that I have experienced the worst customer support service from your company.
I simply wanted to see the list of caller tunes and select one of them. Heres what I have tried:
1) called 198 for agent to help me. - there was no option to select English as a language. all agent knew only Hindi.
2) Agent only partially knew how to set caller tunes via phone or sms no idea about website
3) I did found a way to do it online through Idea website where I can search tunes by artist/album etc (great!) but when I tried to select something website keep throwing error saying "Please check if you have entered all parameters correctly ". Only parameter I had to put was my phone no. which I did
4) Worst of all, when I called 198 back about above problems I got this voice message all the time
"all our customer support agent/executives are busy" and thats it. call ended!! Did they blocked my no. or what!!
This is intolerable customer service in todays internet world and such company should be shut down.
